Will not forget how in one meeting the desi board member in my condo association put down the white schoolteacher board member who literally frothing from her mouth that her time is 'too precious to argue with you people' - He told her: 'my client pays me $250 an hour for my time, and I am here. If you think your time has more value , feel free to go'. It worked. She shut up immediately, and *never* again argued with the person in question. Sometimes being assertive works beautifully. Might not work with neo-nazi supremacists, but with the types mentioned above, yes. mistreatment and prejudice will NOT end till you stand up for yourself.
