Is California Already in Recession?

the report from financial times says so.. the housing starts and inventory metrics are scary. i for one know that the home prices in silicon valley are down about 10% from the recent highs., and at least two large condo communities have sprung up within a 5-mile radius of my home. they aren’t selling well at all.
